About the Senior Analyst Position:

 

Senior Analysts work with team members to provide economic, financial and business strategy consulting to law firms, corporations and government agencies. Senior Analysts are responsible for performing research and analysis and communicating findings and conclusions in support of case objectives. Senior Analysts may work on multiple projects at a time across multiple practice areas and industries. Senior Analysts have the opportunity to direct the work of analysts as well as train analysis, interns and temps. Responsibilities and work experiences may include:

  • Independently analyzing economic, financial, and healthcare data using algorithms and statistical programming in Java, Python, R, SAS, Stata, VBA, and other programs
  • Developing data analyses using statistical methods and analytical tools including econometric estimation of models, survival analysis, and machine learning
  • Creating dynamic visualizations to rapidly explore data and models
  • Examining market and industry behavior through targeted research
  • Reviewing and summarizing reports and client documents
  • Participating in meetings with academic experts and case team members
  • Assisting in the preparation of expert reports and other client deliverables
  • Training new analysts, interns and temps
  • May delegate, coordinate or oversee work of other analysts, temps or interns
  • May participate in recruiting

  • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience required
  • Passion for using data and analytics to solve the economic, financial, accounting, and business challenges our clients face
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
  • Experience or a strong interest in statistical programming and data analysis
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, and a focus on attention to detail
  • A strong academic record

  • A desire to continuously learn and develop professionally
  • An inclusive and growth-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to work across differences

 

Applicants are required to have at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree to be considered. Analysis Group will provide immigration support to qualified candidates with STEM degrees.

Analysis Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$165,000. Employees are eligible for a discretionary yearly bonus that depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
